Over the last half century, many concerned people have watched as planetary conditions have steadily deteriorated, technological wonders not withstanding. We have borne witness to the polluting of air, water, and soil - and now, even the seeds planted for commercial food production. We have seen the shocking effects of climate change and warming conditions on Earth that are staggering. Some of us have even born the brunt of sharp accusations by younger m embers of our species who are now feeling they are being handed an untenable situation to manage for future life on this amazing planet. How will future generations integrate the madness promulgated by the wars of our own time? How will they define future roles of leadership and wise governance of planet Earth?

I think I know Master well enough to suspect that He may not see the future as necessarily conforming to our worst-case scenario projections. I simply cannot wait to see where He goes with this topic, and I want to offer each of you a personal invitation to come to Santa Fe for what I think will be a spectacular coalescing of amazing events. Master would like this to be our largest event ever, so plan right now to attend - and bring all the young adults you know with you. They are likely going to need the wisdom of the Masters as they step into leading a planetary force that must certainly draw on vast levels of grounded enlightenment.

Schedule of Events

The Peace Convocation is happening on August 12-14 at a beautiful retreat center here in Santa Fe. We will begin Friday evening with an outdoor introduction and greeting ceremony. Let me confirm for you that beholding the night sky here is as amazing as advertised! Not only are the sunsets somewhere “off the charts” in terms of show-stopping beauty, Santa Fe has (by ordinance) fewer streetlights than most other cities. Hence, there is less light from human sources obscuring the light from divine sources. Saturday will be spent “in class” with Master as is our usual Convocation format. While August 15th will remain the official Earth Healing Day, we will hold our chanting and prayer ceremony on Sunday the 14th this year. By combining the Peace Convocation with Earth Healing Day, those of you who “get high” on ceremonies should leave totally filled with ceremonial bliss.

Dedication of the New Center in Santa Fe

Saturday evening we will host a special treat. After the dinner meal, we will move from the retreat center to the site of the newly opened Santa Fe VFF office, Earth Healing Day office, my new office, and the new Bishop Library. Further, you will get to see the storage site for nearly 30 years’ worth teachings recorded on tape and CD, as well as written documents (some dating all the way back to the Tibetan Foundation), the archives from Women’s Mysteries Tours, plus our current product line of Master’s works. In a short ceremony by Master, we will dedicate the space to the furtherance of His work, and the healing of planet Earth.

We'll ride the high and abundant energy from Saturday's events into our Convocation initiatory ceremony on Sunday morning. After the ceremony we will close the Convocation, and then we move to a special site to host our Earth Healing Day ceremony. We are expecting a large group of people from the Santa Fe area to join us for the Earth Healing Day ceremony. This is the perfect city for Master’s work! Santa Fe is loaded with spiritual groups, organic farms, green organizations, and Native American pueblos – all likely candidates to participate in Earth Healing Day. This is one ceremony not to be missed! After we all share a final meal together you will be free to explore Santa Fe on your own, perhaps taking in Indian Market or strolling through some of the famous hotels, parks, museums and/or galleries. Believe me, there is plenty of wonder to explore here! However, don’t be too anxious to head out, since there are two more days of New Mexican fun and exploration.

Two-Day Fund Tour: August 15-16

Franci, our inveterate tour guide, and Marisela, our resident New Mexican expert and notable retreat center finder, will combine the wealth of their wit, wisdom and wonder-working for an unforgettable two-day adventure following the Convocation. They are donating their time as a fundraiser for Vajra Flame, and will be hosting a magical tour that will be both fun and educational. Day one will include notable sites in Santa Fe, as well as a noon chanting ceremony to honor the actual Earth Healing Day. (That’s the fifth ceremony, just in case you’re counting.) On Tuesday, we will take the famed “High Road to Taos” for an incredible feast of New Mexican high country. Wait until you see the roads! Marisela is working on getting the group into the renowned Taos Pueblo for a real taste of history and Pueblo culture. Since I want to leave some suspense for later, I won’t mention the rug weavers’ shops in the little villages on the High Road, nor the great food in Taos. However, as Franci commented, “If you’re with me, you know the food will be good!”

More tour details will be forthcoming as the itinerary is solidified, but there is one other piece of excitement to share. Hotel rooms (if you can even get them mid-August in Santa Fe), are exorbitant since this is Santa Fe’s busiest tourist and art dealing time. For those of you deciding to stay over, we have negotiated with the retreat center to provide rooms at the same rates as we negotiated for the Peace Convocation. This in itself is a minor miracle, and I can see Master’s “fingerprints” all over the place.

The Fund Tour is set to be flexible. If you go on only one day (you can pick either Monday or Tuesday), you have the opportunity to donate $100 (or more) to Vajra Flame. For the two-day package, donations can start at $175. The proceeds will go to supporting the new Santa Fe office and Master’s work, so I hope all of you will want to be a part of this remarkable adventure.

Don’t Forget: The Early Bird Gets the Worm

Early Bird registration this year will net you a $50 savings, but it will close at midnight on May 31st. We would love to have the retreat center all to ourselves, so the sooner we can confirm room usage, the more likely the Center will not offer space to any other group that weekend. Thus, the first 25 people to register will receive a bonus gift - a CD of Master’s talk in Santa Fe on March 30th, complete with His suggested meditation for radiation protection, will be mailed as soon as the registration is processed.

I’m very excited about Master’s Convocation Gala this year, and I am particularly excited to welcome all of you to New Mexico, “The Land of Enchantment.” I hope each one of you can recognize (and graciously accept) the intra-plane excitement Master is generating for this spectacular five-day celebration. Over the years, I have come to appreciate the preciousness of having a profound relationship with a Spiritual Master, particularly in uncertain or chilling times. I think the times we are in qualify on both accounts, and I so look forward to seeing each of you in August.
